What is Java Technologist ?

A Java Technologist is an engineer who can develop large scale enterprise applications for distributed and web based environment. A Java technologist has complete knowledge of J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition). The Eligibility to this training program issemester 3 and above.

What is Android Programming ; Can a Non - IT engineer select it as a career option ?


Well , first understand in simple words " What is Android " ?
Simply an Operating System (OS) created by Google to run on any small electronic devices such as cellphones, e-books, Media Internet Devices (MID), netbooks, Internet tablets, and many others devices in the future. An OS is similar to Windows that controls your desktop or laptop personal computers. Google fully developed Android and make it into an Open Source. Now, any phone manufacturer can use Android without expensive license fee from Google. Because it is Open, manufacturer can modify Android without restriction, allowing it to fit the device they are making - total freedom. This makes it a big incentive for any device manufacturers to adopt Android. The ability to run tens of thousands of apps is another big incentive.

There is a requirement of 1000 of Apps in each country , Who will develop them. We Engineers.

Any Engineer ( Preferably from Telecommunication and Computers back ground ) having a flair for Java and love for Mobile Technology should become a certified Android Programmer

No prior Knowledge of Java is required for Joining Android Certified Programmer (ACP).


I have no words to describe the performance and skills of Rocky sir, he was very successful in helping us to visualize and understand complex programming in Android OS. His way explanation is great and in lay man language which is well understood by students. He was expert at his knowledge about android and its functioning as he perfectly answered all the queries and doubts from us.

I am waiting for the details of the PHP course after this great experience with him. In short, Rocky Sir Rocks! Thank You SIR. Hope I get to work with him some day!

I have been part of Suven consultants, in preparation of study material of Android Programming along with Mr. Rocky Jagtiani, under the guidelines of Monster India.

They had a long list of companies wanting engineers having knowledge of Android programming. It is a difficult language, but very powerful and interesting. Android is the next generation JAVA.

Feedback about online Training material - Mobile Technologies: Hi friends, Just before the campus recruitment ( sem 7 - Oct 2009 ) at VJTI, Matunga, Mumbai, many friends of mine started looking out for some technical INTERNSHIP based program. The only programme which i could find on Google-ing was Suven Consultants.

Honestly i was a little skeptical, but to my surprise the quality of study of study material for Android was awesome. The mail based query solving engine run by one Mr. Rocky.J was really good. I recommend the INTERNSHIP - project development based training programmes to all engineering friends in sem 5 and higher.

The training covers most of the concepts required to develop an efficient application. As regards to Rocky sir, he is well acquainted about the Android OS. Secondly, he is readily approachable and thereby solves most of the queries in classroom or via email. His method of teaching i.e. first giving a problem statement, then asking the students for a possible solution and thereby explaining the solution, is very good.
